Paul Martin's Keynote Presentations
The myriad of concerns your company faces is nothing new. The issues change but they're always there. Today, it could be the economy. It could be employee disengagement. The keys to keeping your company running strong are to nurture employee confidence and morale and keep their competitive juices flowing. You have a fantastic organization and you have goals. Now let's ensure that nothing gets in your way!
It starts with Attitude... then add a little Dedication, Commitment, and Work Ethic.
For your next business meeting, let Keynote Speaker Paul Martin deliver a message packed with an attitude for motivation, the humor your audience enjoys, and the inspiration that leaves your group knowing that the next obstacle is not the one that's going to stop them... but it could be the one that launches them!
What Paul brings to the table:
- Re-engage the audience to take a pro-active approach.
- Use adversity to your advantage.
- Reduce the anxiety of daunting tasks
- A balanced approach of humor, drama and inspiration.
Paul lost his left leg below the knee in a 1992 car accident. What first seemed like an immense road block soon turned into an amazing life experience and opportunity. Paul has since competed on four national disabled teams in triathlon, cycling, skiing and ice hockey and won world championships and Paralympic medals in the process.
Today, Paul speaks to corporations and associations across the country in an effort to help people realize their power over adversity, their innate gifts and the energy that results from mixing the right attitude with a little hard work.
Attitude Over Adversity: Embrace Your Obstacles and Use Them to Your Advantage.
Paul reached his athletic potential - finishing in the top 5% of all competitors at the Ironman triathlon - after he lost his leg in a car accident. His commitment to being the best athlete he could be, despite the adversity, translates directly to everyone's challenges they face on a daily basis. As a speaker, he combines humor and humility to connect to the entire audience, relating stories of both failure and success, personal and physical pain, and, most importantly, bottomless optimism.
Around the time he checked himself into to a foster home, Paul, a teenager at the time, learned that individuals have the power to shape their world despite the struggles. He used this power to turn his "disability" into "this-Ability" winning Paralympic cycling medals in Athens as a member of Team USA.
These experiences all come together to show the audience that an obstacle is placed in front of us so that we can climb to the top and get a better view.
Go Get it and Don't Regret It: Follow Your Passions to Success.
The responsibility for one’s success lay squarely on the shoulders of the individual. No one can make or break you, your attitude is yours to keep and the world is your oyster…if you choose to make it so. Paul lives these tenets and demonstrates to the audience that opportunity doesn’t just knock, it asks you to step outside. Each of us has our own individuality - success is far from a blanket condition or the size of your wallet. When we identify with our passion, we are in a position to live a life without regret.
If you believe that Paul’s message - as much about relishing the battle as it is about changing adversity into opportunity - is one your associates would find worth hearing, contact this acclaimed motivational speaker for availability.
Put Paul Martin in front of your audience and they'll leave the
room knowing the next adversity they face doesn't stand a chance.
Attitude
Attitude is indeed everything. It’s the ability to accept the situation for what it is that allows you to formulate a plan to move forward. When you fight reality you forfeit both leverage and vision. Attitude opens up a world of possibilities.
Commitment and Dedication
These traits are paramount to business success. Define your goals and commit to the pursuit, especially when other inviting paths become available. Waves may hinder your progress, yet commitment keeps the rudder steady and dedication to the project keeps you focused on the goal.
Work Ethic
There’s nothing like putting your back into it when it comes to getting things done. Consistent hard work pays off with both accomplishment and pride.
The Ability to Overcome Adversity
All of this adds up to your ability to overcome adversities. Whether the struggles are expected or not, walls will come between you and your goal. When you conquer the obstacle, you are ultimately more fit to tackle the next one while also having a better view of the surroundings, and so the work becomes more manageable.
